excellent webhooks article/rant. yes! i like the email bit because that is exactly something i have done… leveraging twitter direct message emails sent to a script, handled logically and resulting in a real-time response via a prototype app called pubping. of course i did this because the twitter has not webhooks. so i settled for a nice email2webhook ;)
